Chisto Vladimirov Javacheff passed away yesterday, May 31, 2020. Known simply as Christo, the artist along with his late wife Jeanne-Claude, created monumental environmental artworks that were grounded in joy and beauty.

I am thrilled to be visiting Art Omi for the second time this June. My first visit was in the fall of 2015 and since then, my practice has been focused on sculpture - both public and private.
